DOVER — The body of a 50-year-old homeless man was found in an encampment in the woods on Friday night, authorities said.

Dover Public Safety Director Daniel DeGroot said the man’s body was found by a friend at about 11:30 p.m. on Friday in an encampment near Richboynton Road.

The man’s death is not considered suspicious, DeGroot said.

The cause of death is under investigation by the Morris County Medical Examiner’s Office, he said.
