MADRID, 25 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners reached sales of 655 million euros in Spain and Portugal during the first quarter of the year, which represents an increase of 20.5% compared to the same period of the previous year, as reported by the multinational bottling company to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).

On a global scale, adding sales in Europe and Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, the firm reached revenues of 4,154 million euros between January and March, a figure 12% higher than that registered during the first quarter of 2022.

“We have had an encouraging start to the year, with strong revenue growth as consumers continue to enjoy our portfolio of leading brands across a broad packaging offering. Our results reflect strong execution in the market, with further growth in the home channel”, highlighted Damian Gammell, CEO of the company.

Gammel has also stressed that the first quarter of the year “is usually the smallest” and has stressed that the firm is focused on driving profitable growth in revenue and a “solid” free cash flow.

After the results of the first quarter, the company has reaffirmed its objectives for 2023 and has announced the payment of an interim dividend of 0.67 euros per share against the results of the first half, which will be paid on May 25.
