MADRID, 22 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The employers and the main unions in the construction sector have come together to ask that social dialogue be respected as the space where the structure of collective bargaining must be faced.
This has been transferred by the National Construction Confederation (CNC), CC.OO. of Habitat and UGT-FICA after the modification approved by the Government regarding the prevalence of regional collective agreements.
Social agents criticize that this change has not been addressed and debated within the framework of social dialogue, where employers and unions assess and debate in advance this type of issues that directly affect them.
“We support the position of our higher-level associations and confederations, defending that the coexistence of different territorial areas of collective agreements must be articulated based on each sectoral reality,” they stated in a joint statement.
The CNC, CC.OO. and UGT claim the consensus reached this year within the framework of social dialogue to approve the VII General Construction Agreement and its Simplified Employment Pension Plan, which is the first sectoral pension plan at the state level, in addition to other measures among the that highlight salary increases.
