PENNSVILLE — Someone bought a jackpot winning ticket for the Pick 6 lottery game for the first time in three months.
The lucky $5.2 million ticket for Monday’s drawing was sold at Rachel’s Market on Highland Avenue in Pennsville, Salem County, state lottery officials said Tuesday morning.
Monday’s winning numbers were 5, 9, 10, 18, 21 and 26. The XTRA Multiplier was: 3.
The store gets a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
Before Monday, no one had purchased a ticket matching all six numbers for the twice-weekly game since Nov. 14. That $3.4 million ticket was sold at a liquor store in Rahway.
Monday’s jackpot is the largest won since the summer. A South Jersey grandfather who spends exactly $19 on lottery tickets at the same store each week was the winner of the $8.3 million Pick-6 drawing on July 4.
The odds of a $1 ticket matching all six numbers are 13,983,816 to 1.
Thursday’s jackpot resets to $2 million.
