Warning: Spoilers ahead
Chicago arts marketer Megan Hersman couldn’t get out of the red by the end of the second round on Thursday’s episode of "Jeopardy," so she couldn’t even attempt to answer the "Final Jeopardy" clue about the arts.
Hersman ended the episode $1,000 in the hole, but she got to walk away with $1,000 for placing third. Texas graduate student Kirstin Cutts extended her win streak, even though she didn’t correctly answer the clue about the Oscar-winning film "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King."
Hersman was the second contestant from Chicago to place last in this week’s "Jeopardy" episodes. Wrigley Co. consumer insights manager Lauren Michniacki placed third on Tuesday’s episode.
"Jeopardy" airs 3:30 p.m. weekdays on WLS-Ch. 7.
