Did Jennifer Lopez just hint that she’s found love in Drake?
On Saturday, Feb. 4, the “On The Floor” singer, 47, shared a cryptic message on Instagram about leaving something to fate. “Timing is everything. If it’s meant to happen, it will, and for the right reasons,” read the words in a pink image she shared. The inspirational message is often associated with relationships, specifically heartbreak, leaving fans to speculate whether Lopez might be talking about a past or current flame.
Lopez followed the post up with another message on Sunday, though this time it was obviously positive. Check out her Instagram posts below:
As for her latest romance, Lopez has recently been romantically linked to Drake, 30. Rumors of the two artists dating first surfaced back in December when both Drake and Lopez shared a photo of the two of them cuddling on social media on Dec. 28, People reported. Just two days later, the pair were spotted at a winter wonderland formal event where they were crowned king and queen. In the same event, they were photographed kissing on the dance floor while their rumored collaboration track appeared to be playing in the background.
There are also some speculations that the cryptic Instagram post might be about Casper Smart. After divorcing Marc Anthony in 2014 after a 10-year marriage, the “Shades of Blue” star dated on-again, off-again boyfriend Smart. She broke things off with the dancer for good last year, after she reportedly caught Smart cheating on her for the second time.
However, Lopez recently bumped into him while attending a mutual friend’s birthday party last week, and the two were apparently cordial with each other, E! News. Despite this, a source said that Lopez has no plans of getting back together with Smart. “They are still friends though and talk from time and time again. They both will always care for each other because of the history they have,” the insider said.
Relationships aside, the singer seems to be embracing self-love these days after having found a new appreciation for her body. In fact, she has been posting sexy photos showing off her body on social media since last year, including a new snap that draws attention to her toned abs.
“I never appreciated my body or my looks when I was in my 20s. Now I’m like, ‘Look at me! Look at you!’ Not in a conceited or arrogant way — I just appreciate myself in a way I didn’t when I was that age. And it’s not about perfection. I like the scars that I have,” she told W Magazine.
