MORRIS TOWNSHIP — Police are investigating a home invasion robbery in the Collinsville section of the township Thursday during which two individuals in the residence were injured.
The robbery occurred on Cleveland Avenue at about 10:15 a.m. when robbers entered the home, “committing an armed assault and robbery,” Capt. Mark DiCarlo said in a news release.
Two male victims in the residence were injured during the robbery and required medical attention, DiCarlo said.
“We are actively investigating the incident and need the public’s assistance with information,” he said.
DiCarlo said they’re looking for three individuals — one of whom was wearing a red jacket or long-sleeved shirt, with blue jeans and black gloves, and another was wearing a blue or black jacket or long-sleeved shift, with gray sweatpants.
