Demi Lovato just showed her MMA fighter boyfriend Guilherme “Bomba” Vasconcelos who has the upper hand in their relationship. The actress-singer even took to social media to flaunt her ferocious strength when pitted against her macho beau in a Jiu-Jitsu fight.

On Friday, Lovato uploaded on Instagram an interesting clip showing her and Vasconcelos fighting each other inside the gym. At first, Lovato flashes a friendly smile at the professional fighter. However, things get serious when she runs toward Vasconcelos, knocks him down and locks his left arm to secure her victory.

The lax atmosphere in the video indicates that the match between the lovers isn’t that serious. But it’s easy to tell that the “Stone Cold” singer, who stands at five feet and three inches, gave it her all when she tackled her six-foot partner. The twosome also hugged it out in the end.

Many of the singer’s fans were pleased with her victory, as well as her confirmation that Vasconcelos is indeed her new lover. She called the MMA fighter her “bae” in the caption. One fan wrote: “Nice! Took him down in like what? 10 seconds? Well done.” Another fan commented: “Guys, this really is her new man.”

Just days before her workout/Jiu-Jitsu match with her boyfriend, Lovato flaunted her toned body and curves on Instagram when she posted a pic of her in a sexy catsuit. She did not caption the selfie, but it’s clear that she uploaded it to show her fans the body she worked hard for. Many Lovatics couldn’t help but laud the former Disney Channel star’s transformation.

Lovato has been very vocal about her struggles with her body in the past, but she now has a very positive view about herself. “I’ve learned to appreciate my body for what it is. It helps to remind myself how far I’ve come,” she once told Fitness magazine. “Learning to be grateful for our bodies and taking care of them are the best ways for us to empower ourselves physically, mentally and spiritually.”
