BRIDGETON — A man walking on Church Street early morning Sunday was chased by three robbers, all wielding knives, according to police.

The man was walking north on Church Street at 4:15 a.m. when one of the robbers — a man — approached him with a knife and demanded money. When the man attempted to walk away, two other robbers — another man and a woman — also pulled knives out and began chasing the man.

Once he was able to run to North Pearl Street, he called police about the robbery. The man was not injured.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Bridgeton Police Department by calling 856-451-0033 or by submitting the information anonymously through the department’s Tip411 service.
