After spending the weekend with her family, Miley Cyrus is back in her Malibu home. The singer-songwriter even revealed via social media how happy she was to have finally reunited with her “love.”
On Monday, Cyrus took to Instagram to upload a snap of her “love.” As it turns out, the “Wrecking Ball” singer was not referring to her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth in the post. Instead, it was her shetland sheepdog pet, Emu, whom she was glad to be reunited with. In a follow-up, she also recognized the presence of Mary Jane the pit bull and Hemsworth’s big labradoodle Dora.
While it appears Cyrus really missed her pets after being separated from them the entire weekend, it’s undeniable that the “We Cant’s Stop” hitmaker had a blast with her parents, Billy Ray and Tish, and her siblings this past weekend. For their family reunion, the Cyrus clan reportedly chose to stay in a Tennessee farm where they enjoyed being with nature and their farm animals, as reported by Teen Vogue.
Cyrus documented almost everything that took place from their family getaway. On Saturday, she uploaded snaps of her bonding time with eldest sister Brandi Glenn, older brother Trace and younger brother Braison. She also posted a family photo later that day. In the caption, she revealed she was missing their youngest sister Noah, who was not part of the gathering as she’s currently busy promoting her “NC-7” album.
Cyrus’ other posts were mostly of her and her mom as they enjoyed the view of nature. There’s is a post featuring Braison, whom the former “Hannah Montana” star likes to call “Suga Bear.”
Another meaningful post from the Cyrus family weekend reunion was that of the gift Billy Ray gave Hemsworth’s girlfriend. The present was a simple white shirt with the words: “Don’t think inside the box. Don’t think outside the box. Think like there is no box.” In the caption, the actress-singer thanked her father and gushed how her father has always been the one to encourage her to be herself.
