Torrential rains and flooding from earlier in the week continue to cause commuting nightmares as some roads remain at least partially closed due to flooding in Washington County and slides have occurred in other areas.

The landslide that closed Interstate 5 northbound for several hours late Thursday afternoon has been cleared to allow two lanes of traffic to move through at Woodland, Wash, near Dike Access Road. Traffic is moving with no delay through that area as of 6:30 a.m. Friday.

TRIMET MAX DELAYS 6 a.m.; Orange and Yellow MAX lines are delayed 15 minutes through 6:45 a.m. due to a passenger medical issue in North Portland.

Another slide has Bell Road close west of Wilsonville between Grahams Ferry and Baker roads. This road might be closed through next week.

Also Fern Hill Road is still closed south of Highway 47 in Forest Grove.
