HOBOKEN — Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez identified the third suspect in last month’s fatal shooting of an 18-year-old in Hoboken, and is asking the public’s help in tracking him down.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Keyshaun Wiggens, also 18, of Jersey City, Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced.
Suarez said Wiggens is charged with murder, felony murder, armed robbery and burglary, and weapons offenses.
Two other Jersey City residents, one of them a juvenile, have already been charged in
in the Jan. 24 fatal shooging of Adrian Rivera in his family’s apartment at the Andrew Jackson Gardens public housing complex it what appears to have been a botched robbery targeting Rivera.
Suarez said during a community meeting in Hoboken last week that more than $13,000 in cash and three pounds of marijuana were found in Rivera’s apartment after the incident.
One or the other two suspects in the case, Khalif Geiger, 20, is charged with multiple counts of murder, robbery, and weapons offenses.
The prosecutor’s office has declined to comment on the juvenile’s case.
