TRENTON — A Trenton man is facing charges he fired at a man who was driving away after an argument, police said.

Jabree Johnson, 22

Jabree Johnson, 22, was arrested early Wednesday by the State Police’s Crime Suppression Central Unit during a separate investigation, but he was wanted by Trenton police on charges related to a Feb. 6 incident.

Police said a 56-year-old city man was on Cleveland Avenue around 7:30 p.m. when he got into an argument with Johnson.

Johnson then walked away and the man got inside his car, but a few minutes later, Johnson returned pointing a handgun at him, police said.

As the man drove off, Johnson fired a shot. The round landed in the car, but the man was not hit, police said.

He reported the incident to police, who later identified Johnson as the shooter. He faces aggravated assault and weapons charges.
