Jury selection for the double murder trial of former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was delayed Monday due to the massive snowstorm that hit Boston, according to reports.

Potential jurors who will determine whether or not the former Super Bowl champ fatally shot Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado in 2012 will instead be selected Tuesday, ABC affiliate WPTZ reported.

Hernandez is accused of shooting the two men outside a Boston nightclub as they sat in their BMW sedan on July 16, 2012.

He was indicted for the murders in 2014, and pleaded “not guilty” to both counts. The long-delayed case was originally scheduled to head to trial in Dec. 2015.

A judge ruled last month that prosecutors would be able to access the contents of the ex-NFLer’s phone, in addition to discussing the athlete’s tattoos–which the state has argued are an admission of his guilt.

A tattoo reading “God forgives” is located on Hernandez’s hand and arm, while another inking on his body depicts two .38-caliber revolvers, one of which is firing five rounds.

Prosecutors say the gun tattoo is an exact replica of the firearm used to murder De Abreu and Furtado.

Hernandez already faces life behind bars for the slaying of fellow football player Odin Lloyd in 2013.

He was convicted on charges of first-degree murder in Odin’s case in 2015, and is serving that sentence at Souza-Baranowski Correctional center in Massachusetts.
