At the National Prayer breakfast last week President Trump, in addition to asking attendees to pray for better ratings for “The Apprentice,” said he was going to get rid of the Johnson Amendment so churches can participate in political campaigns. White House spokesman Sean Spicer also confirmed that Trump is planning to establish protections of “religious freedom” which will allow any organization to act in accordance with their beliefs.
So, businesses all over the country can now refuse service to Trump and his cabinet members because they bear false witness, committed usury, and are adulterers, right? Probably not. Baking a cake for a man who had to pay $25 million in fines for defrauding students is not an issue, but baking a cake for a sympathetic gay couple will send you right to hell. A man bragging about sexually abusing women makes for an acceptable leader, but a doctor who saves the life of a pregnant woman by doing an abortion should be jailed. Better to deny her care and let her bleed to death in the parking lot — that’s so much more in line with “Christian” values.
Sharia Law is coming at you Trump-style, America. Get ready to be oppressed.
