Bonnie (Liza Weil) has her work cut out for her in ABC’s “How To Get Away With Murder” Season 3. She became Annalise Keating’s (Viola Davis) lawyer and tried her best to get her out of jail. But her client was denied bail.
The end of last week’s episode saw Frank (Charlie Weber) confess to killing Wes (Alfred Enoch). How will Bonnie react to the news of Frank’s confession?
“She is shocked,” Weil told TVGuide during an interview, “Bonnie has to decide how to proceed with defending Annalise and getting her out. Even though it was an idea that was thrown around between Bonnie and Frank that he’d take the fall, it does come as quite a surprise to her and it leaves her very singular and alone in having to take care of everything and everyone.”
However, it also remains to be seen what Assistant District Attorney Atwood (Milauna Jackson) will do now that someone has confessed to the crime. Will they drop the charges on Annalise? “Logically and legally, that is how one would think things would go,” Weil teased, “But Bonnie is going to have to face quite a few obstacles as Annalise’s lawyer, and their dynamic has shifted a great deal. Annalise is pretty much going to hit rock bottom in this episode.”
“How To Get Away With Murder” Season 3, episode 11 will see Oliver (Conrad Ricamora) hack into the D.A.’s Office in order to find out information about the investigation into Annalise. The Keating 4 will soon realize that the case is much bigger than they imagined and it involves them as well. This revelation will surely put everyone at unease. So much so that Bonnie will need to have a talk with them.
“She has a real straight talk with them in this episode that hopefully doesn’t fall on deaf ears,” Weil revealed. “I think that’s also going to add to Bonnie’s challenges.”
