JERSEY CITY — A man was found slumped over the hood of an SUV on Martin Luther King Drive with a serious injury to his stomach early Saturday morning, police said.
The victim, who authorities have not yet been able to identify, was believed to be stabbed near the Wade Street intersection at about 2:30 a.m., according to a police report.
Officers who arrived at the scene said the man was “unresponsive but breathing and eviscerated from his lower abdomen,” the report states.
The unidentified man was brought to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment, where he was listed in critical condition as of Saturday morning. An updated condition was not immediately available.
No one has been arrested and the assault remains under investigation.
